Acupuncture is an important part of Chinese medicine, originating over 2500 years ago. It is an effective, natural and increasingly-popular form of health care used by people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds.

Acupuncture takes a holistic approach to understanding normal function and disease processes, and focuses as much on the prevention of illness as on the treatment.


It is also powerful way to address stubborn muscle tension and chronic pain conditions.   It is particularly effective for inflammation processes like swelling due to injury or surgery as well as tendon inflammation.  Acupuncture draws blood to the area treated and promotes healing.  Acupuncture is also valuable for its profoundly relaxing effect on the body.

Custom Foot Orthotics are inserts for your shoes that are designed to improve foot function and lower-limb alignment. They do not require special shoes to be worn, rather the materials used and the style of orthotic chosen is determined by your specific needs and the footwear you prefer to wear. Orthotics are a very effective tool used in the treatment of a variety of conditions: plantar fasciitis (heel pain), metatarsalgia (forefoot pain), Achilles tendonitis and alignment issues causing knee or low back pain.
