What is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic therapy is a hands-on approach to care for a patient’s neuromusculoskeletal system, including the bones, nerves, muscles, tendons and ligaments. This highly-skilled non-invasive technique involves manual adjustment and manipulation of the spine. An adjustment can help correct joint motion to restore proper movement, improve function, and decrease muscle tension.
Chiropractic techniques yield many benefits, including but not limited to:
Improving back and neck pain
Easing osteoarthritis pain
Reducing headache symptoms

What to Expect During Your Visit
For your initial appointment, your therapist will perform a full assessment to evaluate your overall physical condition and to understand any specific issues you may be experiencing. You will be asked to fill out a medical history prior to your appointment as it is important to understand any previous accidents or traumas experienced, medications you are taking, and family history of illness. Various tests may be performed, such as gait and postural analysis, range of motion, and muscle strength. Please wear appropriate loose-fitting clothing. You may be asked to remove articles of clothing as required for certain treatments, such as dry needling. Following the assessment, you will receive a full treatment session. Duration up to 45 minutes.
