Charlotte Savela

Registered Physiotherapist

Charlotte Savela brings over two decades of expertise as a Registered Physiotherapist, shaping her career with a commitment to excellence and continual learning. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and holds an Honours Degree in Physical Education from Laurentian University.


Charlotte's journey in healthcare began at Lake Superior State University, where she honed her skills in Athletic Therapy. Notably, she was recognized as the "Student Athletic Therapist of the Year" and served as head student trainer for the 1992 NCAA Hockey US Hockey Champions.


With a holistic approach to wellness, Charlotte is also a Certified Group Fitness and Cycling Instructor. She seamlessly integrates diverse treatment modalities to address the unique needs of her patients, fostering optimal recovery regardless of age or ability. Committed to professional growth, she continuously expands her knowledge base through post-graduate courses and certifications offered by leading associations.


Dedicated to staying at the forefront of her field, Charlotte remains updated on innovative treatment techniques. Her training includes manual therapy courses, Myofascial Decompression, Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Dynamic Taping, Stott Pilates Training (Rehab Mat & Reformer), Active Release Training, and Functional Movement Certification.


In her practice, Charlotte prioritizes patient education, empowering individuals to actively participate in their healing journey. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds joy in travel and maintains an active lifestyle through group cycling and Pilates classes.
