Registered Massage Therapist/Neurofunctional Acupuncture
Jackie graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, and is also an acting graduate from The National Theatre School of Canada.
In her practice, Jackie is people-orientated and takes care to understand clients' motives when facilitating a treatment. Jackie is a queer-positive therapist and strives to work inclusively with a broad spectrum of people, making sure everyone feels taken care of and rejuvenated through massage therapy.
She has worked with athletes at the Invictus Games, has experience creating treatment plans for people with muscular dystrophy, as well caring for scar restrictions from chest surgeries.
Jackie has studied Neurofunctional Acupuncture at McMaster University and can incorporate dry needling as part of her massage treatments. She is fascinated by the nervous system and is always learning more about gait mechanics and foot rehabilitation.
When she's not working as an RMT, Jackie makes plays with her theatre company Re:Current Theatre and also enjoys playing ukulele and bouldering.
